Vendors

HOW DO I APPLY TO BECOME A VENDOR?
Applications for NJ Pizza Festival 2025 are now open! Spaces are limited, so apply early for the best chance of securing a spot. Apply here.

IS THERE A DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS?
The application deadline is April 30, 2025, or until all spots are filled. Applications are reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis.

WHAT INFORMATION IS REQUIRED FOR THE APPLICATION?
You’ll need to provide details about your setup, menu, cooking equipment, and payment method. We’ll also ask for your footprint size, fuel type, and $1 sample slice offering.

WHAT KIND OF VENDORS CAN APPLY?
We welcome pizzerias, pizza trucks, pizza trailers, and Italian food vendors—including those offering garlic knots, mozzarella sticks, Italian desserts, and other pizza-friendly fare.

WHAT IF I DON’T HAVE A MOBILE OVEN?
If you own a pizzeria without a mobile setup, you can still participate by renting an oven from a local provider or reaching out to your oven distributor to see if they have an event-ready model. Many oven companies have units specifically for trade shows and festivals.

You are responsible for transporting the oven and securing all necessary fuel. If needed, you can rent tables, chairs, and tents through NJ Pizza Festival.

HOW LARGE IS THE SPACE PROVIDED?
Food trucks & trailers: Up to 24 feet
Tented vendors (without ovens): Approximately 10x10 feet

ARE THERE ADDITIONAL FEES BEYOND THE VENDOR FEE?
NJ Fire Permit
Monmouth County Food Permit
Oceanport Mercantile License
Oceanport Food Handler’s & Mobile Food Vendor License

Vendors are also responsible for their fuel, ingredients, serving supplies, and any optional rentals.

CAN I RENT EQUIPMENT?
Yes! We offer tents, tables, chairs, and refrigerators as add-ons. All tents must be staked or weighted, so if you don’t have one, you’ll need to rent from us.

IS ELECTRICITY OR FUEL PROVIDED?
No. Vendors must provide their own power sources and fuel for cooking.

WHAT ARE THE FEES TO PARTICIPATE?
Pizza Vendor: Level 1 – $175
Pizza Vendor: Level 2 – $200

WHAT AM I REQUIRED TO OFFER?
All pizza vendors must offer $1 sample slices as part of the Pizza Pass Punch Card Program. Each guest will receive a punch card to visit every vendor, and completed cards will be entered to win an at-home pizza oven—driving more traffic to your booth and encouraging full pie sales.

Non-pizza vendors do not have a tasting requirement.

WHAT ELSE CAN I SELL BESIDES $1 SAMPLE SLICES? HOW WILL I MAKE MONEY?
In addition to $1 sample slices, vendors can sell full pies, specialty slices, side dishes, branded merchandise, and more. The $1 slices serve as an introduction—bringing attendees to your booth and allowing them to try your pizza before coming back for larger purchases.

Many vendors see great success selling signature pies, combos, and exclusive festival specials alongside their samples. Plus, with over 5,000 attendees expected, the potential for high-volume sales is huge.

WHEN CAN VENDORS SET UP?
Exact setup times will be provided closer to the festival date.

WHAT HELP IS PROVIDED FOR SETUP & BREAKDOWN?
Vendors are responsible for their own setup and breakdown and must leave their space clean.
